– Tighten nut of wiper arm -1-.
– Switch on ignition.
– Actuate “rear window wipe” function and allow wiper arm to
move to its end position.
– Check adjustment of wiper arm.

Removing and installing rear window
wiper motor [V12]
The rear window wiper motor -V12- will henceforth be referred
to as “rear window wiper motor”.
Removing
– Remove wiper arm ⇒ Rep. gr. 92; Removing and installing
wiper arm.
– Remove lower rear lid trim ⇒ General body repairs, interior;
Rep. gr. 70; Luggage compartment trims; Removing and
installing lower rear lid trim.
– Disconnect electrical connector -1-.
– Release retaining clips -2- counterclockwise.
– Remove rear window wiper motor -3-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
– Moisten inside of seal in rear window with lubricant ⇒ Elec‐
tronic parts catalogue (ETKA).

– Check seal -1- is seated correctly in opening of rear window.
Mark -arrow- on seal must align with mark on rear window.
