– Before using a lever, always mask off the components
installed in visible areas using commercially available ad‐
hesive tape.
– Release locking lug -3- in direction of -arrow A-.
– Swing out right footwell light -W10--2-.
– Disconnect electrical connector -1-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.

– Remove front door trim ⇒ General body repairs, interior;
Rep. gr. 70; Front door trims; Removing and installing front
door trim.

– Pull central locking SAFELOCK function warning lamp -
K133--2- out of mounting -1-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.

light [W45]/[W46]
Removal and installation are described for the left vehicle side
as an example.
Removing
– Move front seat to topmost and frontmost position.

– Release locking lug -1- in direction of -arrow A-.
– Swing out rear left footwell light -W45- / rear right footwell
light -W46--2-.
– Disconnect electrical connector -3-.
