Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
Once the sunroof roller blind motor -V260- or the sunroof sun
blind has been renewed, the sliding sunroof adjustment control
unit -J245- must be adapted ⇒ Rep. gr. 60; Adapting sliding
sunroof adjustment control unit [J245].
Closing force limitation is deactivated during the adaption proc‐
ess.

Manual operation
If the electrical system fails to operate, the sunroof roller blind
motor -V260- can be manually operated with the aid of a com‐
mercially available hexagon key.
Considerable force will have to be applied when turning, since
the sunroof roller blind motor -V260- is not decoupled from the
drive unit.

Moulded headliner is lowered and put on head restraints

Removing and installing moulded headliner.
– Insert commercially available hexagon key into bolt -2- of
sunroof roller blind motor -V260--1-.
– Turn bolt -2- to move sunroof roller blind.

Cleaning water drain hoses
Special tools and workshop equipment required

The cleaning procedure is described for the left side of vehicle
as an example.
– Remove rear wheel housing liner ⇒ Rep. gr. 66; Removing
and installing rear wheel housing liner.
– Insert cleaning and insertion aid -VAS 6620- from below into
plug -1-, and clean water drain hose.
